FAQ

Travelling to Turkey for surgery

Is Turkey safe for orthopedic surgery?
Yes, when you choose accredited hospitals and board-certified subspecialists. Turkey has one of the largest concentrations of JCI-accredited hospitals in the world and treats more than a million international patients a year.
Which city should I choose?
Istanbul offers the widest choice of surgeons and direct flights. Ankara hosts major university departments for complex cases. Izmir and Antalya suit patients who prefer a coastal recovery. We recommend based on your procedure and surgeon match first.
Do I need a visa?
Many nationalities enter visa-free or with an online e-Visa. We provide medical invitation letters where a visa is required.
What if something goes wrong after I return home?
You keep direct access to your surgeon and coordinator for 12 months. Minor issues are managed with your local doctor; revision within the warranty period is covered under the treatment agreement.

Plan your treatment in Turkey with a specialist's opinion first.
